Marketing to State and Local Governments

The State and Local Government Market includes  50 States,  3,034 Counties (159 in Georgia),  19,400 Municipal Governments  (cities, boroughs, towns and villages) and who-knows-how-many  public authorities, airports, hospitals, school systems, etc.
The Market offers wide-ranging needs/opportunities which Can be fast developing. Additionally, agencies’ contracting officers are readily accessible and responsive to the local electorate.  They offer fewer rules and regulations, although Contracting officers can, on occasion, have short “fuse” and  be more “political” than federal.
Recent Trends indicate that Outsourcing is on the rise with agencies consolidating like work into Job orders and task orders and using cooperative purchasing among governments.
Industry Priorities include Health, Education, Corrections, Transportation, Technology, Security, and the Environment.
